"Share the Love"

Wow! I am so grateful for everyone who came to Zacca Za on such a cold night for this event. Not only was it fun, but we raised so much money. This money will go toward helping fund our travel expenses to Cambodia, and our supplies before and when we are working at the orphanage. Also, we sold pigs at the Pig-O-Meter. We will purchase the pigs when we arrive so that the orphanage can raise the pigs and sell them at profit to the markets. At this event we had a silent auction and a raffle. Thank you so much to all of the local businesses who donated items. Without all of you this event woudn't have been as successful!! DJ DC and his amazing tunes were a great addtion to the night.

I would also like to thank the Ferzacca Family and all of their staff for allowing us to host this event at their restaurant. The food was amazing and the staff was all so helpful. Jack, Tabor, Nina, Kassie and my parents were all such a huge part of this successful event. Thank you parents! Thank you to Mrs. Gutmann for all of her help! This truly was a team effort.

Lisa-Marie kept us organized throughout the night and prior to the event. SHE MADE THIS NIGHT POSSIBLE!! Words cannot express my thanks to her.

Gearing up for Cambodia!

This Friday I get my required immunizations for travel to Cambodia. Not looking forward to them at all....

I had to re-apply for my passport as mine was expiring. Just recieved my new one in the mail. Yay!

Have been reading my new Lonely Planet Cambodia Travel book and finding out some useful infomation.

Overall, this trip is so close away! I think about it everyday and get more and more excited.
